§ 74-302. Limits increased.

  • Speed limits established by Wis. Stats. § 346.57(4)(e), (f) and (g) are increased to the speed limits set forth upon the following streets or portions of such streets:

    (1)

    Thirty-five miles per hour South River Street (U.S. Highways 53 and 63) from the southerly end of the bridge crossing the Yellow River, known as the "Yellow River Bridge."

    (2)

    Forty miles per hour on State Highway 70 from the easterly city limits to the easterly edge of the railroad tracks on the Chicago and Northwestern crossing.

    (3)

    Thirty miles per hour on Maple Street between River Street and High Street, and 30 miles per hour on South High Street from Maple Street to First Street.

    (4)

    Forty-five miles per hour on State Highway 70 between First Street and the westerly city limits.

    (5)

    Twenty-five miles per hour on Scribner Street between Spruce Street and the northerly city limits.

    (6)

    Thirty-five miles per hour on Elm Street from its intersection with Harmon Street to Rocky Ridge Road north to the city limits.
